Where the money goes.

The Family of Israel Fund is feeding, clothing, sheltering, and offering hope to a variety of people, primarily in Israel. The recipients are either children or families who are suffering mostly as a result of terrorism, health issues, or domestic strife. The fund provides both long and short-term assistance, depending upon the situation. In some instances, we offer assistance for one-time special occasions.

Every case assisted by the Fund is examined individually and must be substantiated by medical, rabbinical and/ or legal documentation

For example:

  • Childcare for a family whose father was killed by a terrorist and whose mother is terminally ill

  • Feeding a large family (including twin baby boys) whose mother died from cancer soon after their birth
  • The distribution of ready-made Shabbat food to a community that has suffered from repeated terrorist attacks which have restricted their road access
  •   Hot Meals lunch program for under-privileged children

  • A triple bar-mitzvah of orphaned boys

  • The publication of a children’s book written by a severely disabled woman who  strives to be self-sufficient
